Project Coordinator for Savidya Upasamiti

We are looking for an eligible person for working as a project coordinator with us.

Responsibilities:

• To solicit the co-operation of the district administrative authorities, educational authorities, the principals of adopted schools, teachers & gram sabhapatis/ Nagar Palika ward members associated with the adopted schools. The co-operation of the guardians is also to be taken for the help needed in the education process.
• To provide monthly report of the activities of the samiti and to load it in the website.
• To oversee the honest utilization of the grants received by Savidya
• To monitor the performance of the employees and encourage them for improving the lot of the children
• To help in proper functioning of the organization
• Involve in fund raising activities
• Capability of expanding the operations of Savidya
• Communicating with the local vendors for purchase of items like school uniforms, medicines, computers etc. for use in the adopted school & the organization. Experience of purchases with quotations, quote analysis, purchase order, receipts & payment

Qualifications & Experience:

• The candidate should be a graduate
• Knowledge of computer like typing, accessing internet, email etc. is desirable
• Experience of managing NGO would be an additional advantage
• The experience to handle the funds received from abroad under FCRA of government of India will be an additional benefit

Honorarium:

The job would require working from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Honorarium of upto Rs. 12,500 /month can be given to the eligible candidate. The job is located at Haldwani.
