Eye Donation Fortnight runs from 25 August to 8 September. On the last day of it, the society held an awareness programme at the government primary and upper primary school in Kulethi, under a banner reading नेत्रदान महादान — eye donation is the greatest donation.
Students were shown videos, projected on the classroom wall, on how to protect their eyes and on why eye donation matters. The school’s principal, Shri Rudra Singh Bohra, and Pankaj Bohra of HIMWATS then explained eye donation to them in detail. Teachers and others present were encouraged to pledge.
