On 7 March 2024, HIMWATS held International Women’s Day at C.D.L.A.S.R.C. Kulethi — a day earlier than usual, because of the Shivaratri holiday on 8 March.
Chief guest Sister Jyoti spoke about women’s rights, their contributions, and how personal transformation can lead to global change. Junior School teacher Mrs Kavita Verma took an active part in welcoming the guests and organising the competitions.
The programme drew significant participation from rural women and students. Women who placed first, second and third were honoured by the organisation. Senior village woman Mrs Durga Rasyara was among those attending.
